Calligraphy performance
Born in Okinawa, Ms Shusui has worked on numerous projects, including the title lettering for the leaflet of the World Heritage Site Nakijin Castle Ruins, and has experience in various fields such as TV commercials and radio hosting.
As an artist who expresses the "power of characters," she takes inspiration from the origins of kanji and their styles, with a particular focus on the brush. By adding imagination and emotion to the joy of interpreting kanji flexibly, she creates unique typefaces as a designer.
